IDW provides internship opportunities for aspiring industrial designers who have an interest in footwear design. Candidates should be currently studying industrial design at an accredited college or university, and demonstrate, through their portfolio, an understanding of the product design process with particular emphasis on drawing skills, creativity, and an aptitude for 3D forms. Candidates should be competent in Adobe Creative Suite applications and Sketchbook Pro software. Candidates must have a willingness to work overtime, have no allergies to dogs, and hopefully, posses a love of good music -- either as a fan or a practitioner.

IDW is seeking a Women's Footwear Designer with experience designing women's athletic, casual, and fashion footwear. The ideal candidate will posses a bachelor's degree in industrial design or fashion design, and will have at least 3-5 years experience working on branded women's footwear. IDW is a high output, rapid paced design environment with frequent business travel to US, European, and Asian destinations. Fluency in a foreign language is also helpful. The role of Women's Footwear Designer will require daily communication with clients, excellent organizational skills, and some business development tasks. IDW is a dog-friendly environment.
